Head Drum Major: Ella Temper is a Senior here at Hollywood Hills High
School.Her primary instrument is Bb Clarinet and also plays the Alto Sax and Piano. After joining band back in middle school
in 2003 she has continued to make music a huge part of her life. Starting her sophomore year she joined the Spartan Pride
Marching Band and was the bands Librarian/Historian. The following year she became the bands Assisiant Band Captain and now
to this year where she was named the Head Drum Major. She absolutely loves band and looks forward to an amazing senior year
academically and musically.She is also an officer in the Hollywood Hills High School Chapter of the Tri-M Music Honor Society.
After she graduates she plans to become a Music Business Major at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.
Drum Majors: Hi, I am Sara Mendez. I'm Drum major for the Spartan
Pride Band. I play the saxophone and have been playing for 5 years. I was inspired to play by my brother who was also in the
band. Outside of band i enjoy playing soccer and flag football, which I am captain of both.
Band Captain: My name is Andrea Gonzalez and I am the Band
Captain for the HHHS Band. I've been in band since 6th grade at Driftwood Middle, where I first played percussion.
I then switched my second year to Baritone, which i have been playing for 5 years. In addition to participating in band I
am also on the school yearbook staff and I am the President of the French club at hills. My future goals are to attend BC
for 2 years and then transfer to Johnson & Wales University to study culinary arts or hopitality management.
Asst. Band Captain: I am Jessic Cook and I am the Assistant Band Captain as well as the flute
section leaer for the HHHS Band. This year i am a junior at Hills and this is my 3rd year in marching band. I began taking
piano lessons when i was five and continued with music in the Pines Middle School Band in 6th grade. I have been playing flute
for 5 years and piccolo for 1 year. I enjoy participating in community service projects through the Key Club and Girl Scouting.
I am a member of the Math and Music Honor Societies.

Trumpet Section Leader: Hello my name is Vincent Brilz and i am the Trumpet section leader.
I have been in band for five years and enjoyed every second of it. My first year i was in beginners band then my second
year i jumped straight to symphonic band, Also in my eight grade year i was in symphonic band and joined jazz band too,
but sadly towards the end of the year i started to lose interest in band and was not going to join band in high
school. So i just told myself that i would try it only for a week and BOOM that's when it happened i met Mr. Wilson. He turned
my hole perspective of band around and i feel in love with my trumpet once again. In that same year my ninth grade year i
took jazz band, marching band and symphonic band. I wanted all that had to do with music. Then one day i found
out that there was this thing were i can run for section leader and i did not want to do it because i thought i would be just
to busy with work and school and all i wanted to was work. But then my lovely special friend Carolina told me something
that i needed to hear and that was that i needed to live life like a kid so i listened. Then what do you know i got the spot
of being section leader to the best section in the world with wonderful great helpers by my side Anthony and Brian and i plan
to go farther with them then we have already gotten so ya there you go that's it thanks for reading.
